Audio is sensitive to space. When speech is recorded in standard office spaces or residential apartments, room flutter and environmental resonance diminish vocal authority. At fylil, we built our King West studio from the studs outward with custom acoustic treatments.
Our room features floating sub-flooring to eliminate low-frequency transit hum from King Street streetcars, complemented by broadband absorption baffles that provide a controlled, warm acoustic profile without making speech sound dead or unnatural.
